Arts in Education Program

 Teaching Artist for the Western New York Division 
 
 Created diversified lesson plans to cover grade levels from kindergarten through 12th utilizing listening examples, musical terms as well as lessons in musical history and dance enabling students to fully appreciate the history of Jazz music and the concept of poetry in the musical language from the perspective of a professional performer
Teaching Artist for: Sisters in Poetry and Music, History of Women in Music, Tuck Everlasting 
Schools included: Barker High School, Niagara Falls High School, 
Franklin Middle School, and Highland Elementary, Mill Middle, Gaskil

ECC Outreach Program

Guest Lecturer     

 Integrated a study plan and series of exercises for 60 adult students to help engage their social and cultural interactions within their community and potential workplace. Utilized music as a core language to bridge cultural gaps and establish safe and respectful interaction. 


Medaille College

 Teacher Music Appreciation 101     

 Introduced various genres of the music world to college students, comprehensive listening assignments along with textual analysis and presentations were used to hone cultural awareness 
 Introduced various careers linked to the theatrical arts resulting in the students preparing research in a chosen field and presenting their final projects 


Nardin Academy 
Voice Coach for 'Once On This Island' 


Provided vocal coaching for the cast of 'Once On This Island'. Fostered a professional atmosphere for the high school students to explore working as artists. Helped develop strong vocal character choices and body awareness.
