Individual Lessons

We accept payments in cash, venmo, PayPal or check

60 minute voice lessons will be individualized for every student.

The framework for each lesson can include the following:
  • Discussion and review of the previous week's practice addressing any concerns or difficulties with songs
  • An expansion of the prior week's vocal and physical relaxation and warm-up exercises
  • Joint decisions regarding repertoire to expand each student's musical horizons while encouraging the student's own musical interests 
  • Textual analysis and character development based on chosen repertoire
  • A gentle approach to the development of the most natural and comfortable sound
  • Explanations and open communication about how and why the voice both sounds and feels the way it does  
  • Development of daily best practices for individual needs
  • Exploration of Holistic approaches for developing and maintaining a healthy voice
  • Referrals to massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, yogis, and other Holistic caregivers should a student wish to explore these avenues
